Covers key principles like the 3C principles of chess and happy squares.
Teaches basic tactical motifs including double attacks, pins, forks, and discovered attacks.
Focuses on essential endgame strategies, famous chess games, key squares, and pawn structures.
Intermediate Level I:
Explores advanced tactics and strategies like complex tactical motifs and induction.
Analyzes famous games such as Rossolimo vs. Reissman and tests students' chess skills.
Studies advanced endgames essential for intermediate players.
Covers strategic concepts including X-ray attacks, improvements in chess engines, harmony, and clearance.
Intermediate Level II:
Focuses on opening repertoires, including white and black responses to e4 and d4.
Teaches handling complex pawn endgames and difficult positions.
Explores the thought processes of top players and the aggressive style of Paul Morphy.
Analyzes historic and top-level games to understand high-level strategies and techniques.
Chess Tournament Class:
Emphasizes thorough opening preparation for both white and black pieces, including traps and strategies.
Covers middlegame planning, attack arrangement, and when to attack or consolidate.
Teaches endgame mastery, including essential and advanced endgames, draw methods, and endgame finishing strategies.
