Our Reading and Writing course is designed to enhance students’ literacy skills through engaging and interactive activities. Students will improve their reading comprehension by exploring a variety of texts, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama. They will develop their writing abilities by practicing different styles, such as narrative, expository, persuasive, and descriptive writing. The course emphasizes critical thinking, encouraging students to analyze texts and express their interpretations thoughtfully. Creative writing exercises will inspire imagination, while research assignments will introduce basic research skills and proper citation practices. By the end of the course, students will be well-prepared for academic challenges and equipped with the tools to enjoy and analyze literature critically.

    She has experience teaching numerous grades, including kindergarten through eighth and worked as an educator in many capacities also. With 3 years of curriculum planning and professional development experience, Ms. Jennifer knows how to design customized Reading & Writing class for each student with a good performance.

Ms. Georgia Hemrick

  • Georgia Hemrick is a Tennessee-certified teacher who has been an educator for the past 14 years. For the last six years, she has been teaching English as a Second Language in both public schools and online. Previously, she instructed students of all ages in Drama Camps while she directed local and regional plays and musicals.

Ms. Danielle Davis

  • Mrs. Danielle Davis is a certified teacher currently living in Northern Virginia. She has over 15 years of experience teaching children in grades PreK through 8th grade. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an ESOL endorsement from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
