Mr. Jerry Gonzalez is a dedicated and student-centered math educator with extensive tutoring experience across multiple grade levels. With several years of remote teaching experience, he has worked with students from elementary through high school, providing instruction in both mathematics and Spanish. Mr. Jerry is especially experienced in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those in special education programs such as students with dyslexia or autism. His patient and encouraging approach helps students build confidence while strengthening their academic foundations.

Mr. Jerry’s teaching philosophy centers on active engagement and inquiry-based learning. He believes that students learn best when they actively explore concepts, investigate problems, and collaborate in the learning process rather than simply receiving information passively. His goal is to help students become independent learners who can approach challenges with curiosity, confidence, and strong problem-solving skills.

Mr. Jerry holds an Associate of Science degree, a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Biology, and a Master of Business Administration in International Banking and Finance. His diverse academic background allows him to connect mathematical thinking with real-world applications and broader analytical skills.

Known for his caring, cheerful, and friendly personality, Mr. Jerry creates a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking intellectual risks. His ultimate goal is to help every student grow academically while developing the independence and confidence needed for long-term success.

Outside of teaching, Mr. Jerry enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, attending church with his family, swimming, running, hiking, reading, and visiting museums. His broad interests and enthusiasm for learning enrich his teaching and help him connect with students in meaningful ways
