Teaching Philosophy

Mr. Margarito’s approach to teaching is centered on inspiring and motivating students to build confidence and succeed in their academic journey. He believes that every student learns differently and strives to engage learners through high-interest lessons and multiple teaching modalities that accommodate a variety of learning styles.

Classroom Environment

Creating a comfortable, supportive, and focused classroom is one of Mr. Margarito’s top priorities. He provides students with timely feedback, clear explanations, and individualized support to help them stay on track. His goal is to ensure that every student feels confident, understands the learning objectives, and is encouraged to achieve their personal best.

Passion for Online Learning

Mr. Margarito enjoys online tutoring because it allows for a personalized learning experience tailored to each student’s individual strengths, needs, and learning pace. Whether teaching one-on-one or in small groups, he finds great satisfaction in helping students grow academically while building their confidence and independence.

Mr. Margarito holds teaching credentials in both California and Louisiana, allowing him to work with a diverse range of students across multiple educational settings.

Professional Experience

Mr. Margarito began his educational career as a classroom aide, supporting students from pre-kindergarten through middle school, including those in Special Education and psychomotor programs. This early experience helped him develop a strong understanding of differentiated instruction and individualized student support.

From 2008 to 2009, while completing his English teaching credential, he taught sixth and seventh grade English Language Arts. He then served as a substitute teacher throughout Los Angeles County, working with students in grades 7–12, including learners in Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs.

Between 2013 and 2020, Mr. Margarito taught high school English Language Arts and Independent Studies. During this time, he utilized a wide range of instructional strategies, including literature analysis, ESL instruction, writing workshops, and individualized academic coaching to help students reach their educational goals.

From 2022 to 2024, he continued teaching English Language Arts remotely to middle and high school students across Texas, Louisiana, Maryland, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Through online instruction, he has successfully created engaging, student-centered learning experiences that support both academic achievement and personal growth.

As a professional teacher at iFun Education, Mr. Margarito is excited to continue helping students develop strong reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking skills while fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Beyond the Classroom

Outside of teaching, Mr. Margarito enjoys spending time at the beach. Having recently moved to the Caribbean, he embraces the slower pace of island life and enjoys exploring new adventures.
