Work History

With an educational background that includes a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Cal State University Northridge (2005) and Single Subject Credentialing from National University, Los Angeles (2007), Mr. Margarito has extensive experience teaching English Language Arts at both the middle and high school levels. His credentials span across California and Louisiana, allowing him to teach a wide range of learners.

His journey as an educator began as a classroom aide, where he worked with pre-kindergarten through middle school students, including special education and psychomotor aid. From 2008 to 2009, he taught sixth and seventh grade English Language Arts while earning his English credential. Later, he became a substitute teacher in Los Angeles County, working with students from grades 7 to 12, including those with unique learning needs in Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL).

From 2013 to 2020, Mr. Margarito taught high school English and Independent Studies. He utilized his wide range of skills to assist students in achieving their educational goals, employing strategies such as literature analysis, ESL instruction, and writing workshops.

Currently, from 2022 to 2024, Mr. Margarito teaches English Language Arts remotely to middle and high school students across various states, including Texas, Louisiana, Maryland, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. As a professional teacher at iFun Education, he is eager to bring his expertise to help students achieve deep and meaningful learning.

Hobbies and Interests

In his personal time, Mr. Margarito loves the beach and recently moved to the Caribbean, embracing a slower pace of life and new adventures.
