Meet Vicky Gill, a dedicated educator hailing from the picturesque state of South Carolina. With 23 years of English teaching experience under her belt, her journey into teaching began during her college years, where she found her calling as an after-school teacher at a local daycare center. Guiding students through their homework assignments ignited her passion for education, setting her on a steadfast path in the field.

Graduating with both undergraduate and graduate degrees from a university in Tennessee, Vicky honed her teaching skills through substitute teaching in elementary and middle schools. It was during this time that she discovered her affinity for Language Arts, driven by her desire to instill a love for reading and writing in her students. Returning to her roots in South Carolina, Vicky secured a teaching position as a middle school ELA teacher in the public school system. Her dedication to professional growth led her district to sponsor her pursuit of a Master's in English from Furman University. Additionally, she expanded her knowledge through the Upstate Writing Project at Clemson University, learning best practices for teaching both writing and reading with an emphasis on fun and engagement.

Beyond her professional life, Vicky finds joy in her family and furry companions.
